Water for Wildfires

Water for wallow becomes
water for WILDFIRES in arizona

Titan Restoration has joined with many local companies to collect cases of water for those affected by the wildfires in Arizona. Their campaign started out as “Water for Wallow” for the Wallow Wildfire and quickly become Water for Wildfires. “The influx of support throughout the community has been unbelievable” states Brittany Bach of Titan Restoration. “To be told that the residents and firefighters in Northeast Arizona have too much water is a sound we never thought we would hear.”

With over 12,000 bottles of water collected and more coming in, the need is abundant throughout the community, especially in the summer weather. Titan has collected enough water to make an impact in the state of Arizona.

“As long as the need is there, we will be giving back to the community where we can.”

FUNDS RAISED

Titan Restoration of Arizona joined with the Grand Canyon Chapter of the American Red Cross to raise tax deductible funds to help the victims of the Wallow Wildfire.American Red Cross Grand Canyon Chapter

People count on the Red Cross to help them in their darkest hour. In turn, the support of donors makes it possible for the Red Cross to fulfill its humanitarian mission. Please donate to the local Red Cross Grand Canyon Chapter. Each dollar given goes towards the local disaster relief fund, providing financial resources to the areas which Arizonans need it most. This includes areas as home fires, monsoons, and the disaster response of the Wallow Fire. The local Red Cross will be able to provide shelter, emotional support, snacks, water, cots, blankets and comfort kits to those in need with the generosity of the community. Thank you for your donation.

Where did it all go?

Titan delivered a truck load of water to the evacuees of the Monument fire near Sierra Vista on Monday June 20, 2011 to Apache Middle School.

Titan contacted the United Food Bank and donated a pallet to the Mesa location to help replenish their stock of the water given to the Wallow Wildfire.

Titan also delivered cases of water to Eager, AZ on July 2, 2011, where they participated filling bags with sand to help prevent flooding after the fire at “Round Valley Fights Back.”

Note from our staff

Russ Palmer, Owner of Titan Restoration is a native Arizona resident with a cabin in the White Mountains. We wanted to a way to show our support, as many clients, friends and relatives will or have been affected by the fire already. When a fire strikes, we want to show our support to the community.

Brittany Bach, an employee of Titan Restoration, was an evacuee in October 2003 for the “Old Fire” in Running Springs, CA. “Leaving my home with whatever fit in my car seeing flames in the review mirror” she states “was one of the most difficult things I’ve been through. Even if your home is still standing after the fire, the emotional trauma from being evacuated for 14 days is difficult.” Understanding such displacement, she headed the fundraiser at Titan in an effort to make an impact.
