Russ Palmer began his restoration journey when he started a carpet cleaning business in 1994 out of an old, white van. It was through this modest one-man show that he discovered his love for water damage restoration and began his path towards becoming an industry leader in restoration. While honing his carpet drying skills, Russ courted opportunities to learn the science of structural drying, and the intrigue of moisture levels and the mystery of mold growth became infatuations for him.
In 1998, Russ formed FloodPro, a water restoration company. He quickly earned a stellar reputation becoming known as one of the region’s leading experts in water damage restoration, and a pioneer in a cutting-edge technique known as “top-down” drying.
As the restoration industry grew with new techniques and technology, so did Russ’s expertise and ability to deliver top-of-the-industry results. In 2005, Titan Restoration of Arizona was born in Mesa, AZ, which would become Arizona’s leading full-service restoration company.
In February 2010, Titan Restoration created the “flood house.” Titan bought a 1400 square foot home that was built in 1948 and did extensive reconstruction and remodeling so that it could be used as a training facility for water damage.
Today the Titan Flood House serves as a one-of-a-kind, cutting-edge training facility for our water technicians, as well as an educational opportunity for Facility Engineers, Maintenance Managers, Property Managers, Adjusters and Agents in the industry. We also use the house to review new industry techniques and practices as they emerge, so we are always at the very top of the game.
In 2014, Russ reached 20 years of experience as a leader in the restoration industry, establishing Titan as the restoration company with the most experience in the area.
Due to Russ’s valued reputation within the Greater Phoenix area, Titan received a call for help from the Talking Stick Resort & Casino when millions of gallons of water flooded the property from a monsoon storm. What ended up being Titan’s largest project to date and one of the biggest restoration projects in the history of the area, the job resulted in removing 2 million gallons of CAT3 (unsanitary) water, replacing over 30,000 sq ft of drywall and working almost 25,000 hours to get the resort, casino and restaurants back up and running in record time.
In early 2020, Titan purchased an 11,000 sq ft building, formally a church, and transformed it into our stellar, new Home Headquarters. This Mothership houses all of our employees, a large employee kitchen, a 4500 sq ft warehouse for our cutting-edge equipment, and a 1500 sq ft conference/training room in the hub. We encourage you to stop by and we would be happy to show you our operation and what makes us the leading restoration company in Arizona!
In November, 2021, Titan expanded to Tucson, AZ with a brand new brick-and-mortar location providing full-service restoration and reconstruction services to Tucson and the surrounding areas. We look forward to being of service to the community!
At Titan Restoration of Arizona we have a team of the best techs, estimators, supervisors, executives, and administrative staff in the business, and we’re always looking for top talent to join us in providing the highest quality work with the best customer service.
