Learn About Gilbert, Arizona

Gilbert is a large suburb in the Phoenix metropolitan area. It is 76 square miles in size and has a population of 208,453. Today, Gilbert is a bustling city in its own right and is recognized as the most populous incorporated city in the United States.

The city is named after William "Bobby" Gilbert who gave land to the Arizona Eastern Railway for the construction of a train track between Phoenix and Florence. A grocery store and a post office were soon established, paving the way for other businesses and government installations to be set up. The area then started to thrive with agriculture, allowing the population to grow from the hundreds to the thousands.

Today, Gilbert is an economically diverse city, benefitting from its own commercial success as well as its close proximity to Phoenix. Its population is predominantly white, but Asians, African Americans, Hispanic and Pacific Islander residents have grown in number significantly.

Hi, a few months back we had a plumbing leak in a wall. A stud that has three pipes going through it and the sill plate beneath were badly damaged. It was a pinhole leak that seeped for sometime. Anyway, I had the plumbing repaired but would like the stud braced/sistered. I don't know how that would be done when it has pipes passing through but I'd like to get it done. Do you have an idea of how much it would cost, start to finish?
